The PhytoTank Macroalgae Reactor (Quick Connect Version) uses chaeto macroalgae to naturally remove nitrate and phosphate from your reef—helping maintain a cleaner, more stable system.
This version features rotatable quick-connect fittings for a cleaner install and easier tubing management.

How It Works
Install a small pump in your sump (recommended ≤ 360 GPH) to circulate water through the reactor and back into your system. As chaeto grows inside the PhytoTank, it consumes excess nutrients.
When the reactor fills with macroalgae, remove approximately 75% of the chaeto to export the absorbed nitrate and phosphate.
